Last updated 9 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data Chocolate collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong. It includes our Personal Information Collection Statement.
Who we are
Chocolate, at G/F, 2 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong, is run by DOMC Partners Limited. In this notice “we”, “us” and “our” mean DOMC Partners Limited, trading as Chocolate. We are the data user responsible for your personal data.
Browsing this website
This website has no forms and asks you for nothing. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on it.
Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., keeps standard technical records of visits, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. These are used to deliver the site and keep it secure, are held on Vercel’s servers outside Hong Kong, and are kept for the periods set out in Vercel’s own privacy policy. We do not use them to identify you.
If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will ask for your consent before any of them run, and we will update this notice first.
Personal Information Collection Statement
This statement applies when you contact us to make a booking, ask about private hire or ask a question, whether by WhatsApp, phone, Instagram or in person.
What we collect. Your name, your phone number, and the details of your request: the date, time, number of guests, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as the occasion.
Why we collect it. To handle your booking or enquiry, to contact you about it, and to look after you on the night.
Whether you have to give it. A name and a contact number are needed to hold a booking. Without them we cannot reserve a table or follow up a private hire enquiry. Anything else is up to you.
Who we share it with. Your details are seen by our staff who handle bookings. They pass through the services you choose to contact us on, such as WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and Instagram, which process them under their own terms and may store them outside Hong Kong. We may disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to the police or a court. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Direct marketing. We will not use your personal data to send you promotions or offers unless you have agreed to it. If you agree and later change your mind, tell us and we will stop, free of charge.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and enquiry details only for as long as we need them to handle the booking and anything that follows from it, and then delete them.
Keeping it safe
Only staff who need your details to handle your booking can see them. We take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorised or accidental access, processing, loss or use.
Your rights
Under the Ordinance you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to request a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong. We will respond within 40 days. We may charge a fee for providing a copy, which will not be more than the Ordinance allows.
To make a request, write to us at G/F, 2 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong, or message us on WhatsApp at +852 6402 3444.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
